Position Overview

The Supervisory Program Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of professional acquisition personnel. This role includes the planning and delegation of work assignments to ensure effective operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage position assignments, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee recognition programs and maintain open lines of communication.

The analyst will also engage in advanced professional tasks involving mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and various scientific methodologies.

Analytical Duties

Utilizing rigorous scientific inquiry methods, the analyst will:

  • Examine management challenges and provide statistical insights regarding the potential impacts of different solutions.
  • Develop, present, and justify budgetary and resource estimates while establishing timelines and monitoring program status.
  • Identify areas of concern and implement necessary adjustments to improve program outcomes.
Documentation and Coordination

Analyze requirements and coordinate the development and presentation of major program documentation and reviews at the Headquarters Department of the Army level.

Conditions of Employment

Applicants must meet specific conditions, including:

  • U.S. Citizenship verification.
  • Eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
  • Completion of a suitability or fitness determination through a background investigation.

This position is classified as a Critical Acquisition Position, requiring a written tenure agreement to maintain Federal service for a minimum of three years.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must possess:

  • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service.
  • Experience in analyzing financial management documents and coordinating fiscal oversight.
  • Proven ability to develop systems for monitoring acquisition workforce performance.

Education may not substitute for experience in this role. Direct Deposit of Pay is mandatory, and Army Acquisition Corp membership is required prior to appointment.
