Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing the allocation of sustainment funding to various Army Reserve Installations and associated programs. The incumbent will provide expert guidance to staff on contract management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and distribute sustainment funding to Army Reserve Installations and relevant programs.
2. Offer strategic advice on contract management to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Evaluate new legislation and regulations to identify program requirements and impacts, drafting policies that affect Army Reserve facilities.

Point of Contact:
Act as the primary liaison for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Facility Sustainment Model, ensuring accurate determination of sustainment needs for the Army Reserve.

Program Oversight:
Manage all activities related to the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), including the preparation and presentation of justification materials to senior leadership.

Budget Management:
Review and respond to Program Decision Memorandums and Program Budget Decisions as necessary.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet specific employment authority categories. Experience must include:
- At least one year of specialized experience at a senior command level, focusing on planning, programming, budgeting, and resource execution.
- Proficiency in analyzing installation status reports and making budget recommendations.
- Experience in policy writing and implementation for command organizations.
