About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cosmetologist to join our team at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa services to our guests, ensuring a memorable and relaxing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality spa services, including haircuts, color, manicures, and pedicures, in a manner that reflects the Dollywood brand.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Utilize proactive sales techniques to recommend and demonstrate retail products to guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Attend mandatory department trainings and meetings, contributing to the development of new ideas and initiatives.
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including coordinating education events for the hair and nail services team.
  • Help design and implement new hair and nail treatment protocols, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Receive and organize retail and supply shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with the development and facilitation of new-hire training plans, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new team members.
  • Coordinate food and beverage services for the Spa, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and guest information, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A current Tennessee Cosmetology License is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
  • Additional skills such as aesthetics, massage therapy, or makeup artistry are desirable but not required.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with accuracy.
  • Able to communicate effectively using standard English grammar and punctuation.
  • Able to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoors.
  • Able to operate/drive a company vehicle with valid TN driver's license and insurance.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job.
