We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber II Female to join our team at Dollywood Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing and mechanical systems to support all Dollywood Company properties.
Key Responsibilities- Install and Repair Plumbing Systems: Install new plumbing systems or repair and maintain existing systems, including water, steam, heat, water, gas, drainage, sewage, filtration systems, and service lines.
- Determine Water Supply Networks and Waste Drainage Systems: Determine water supply networks and waste drainage systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Obtain Permits and Coordinate with Project Manager: Obtain proper permits as required by law to carry out plumbing work on construction or remodeling projects and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure Systems Meet Building Codes and Safety Standards: Ensure that all systems meet all standards of building codes and safety regulations.
- Install Underground Storm, Sanitary, and Water Piping Systems: Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
- Review Blueprints and Building Codes: Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Support and Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Support and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Install and Maintain Air Conditioning Equipment: Install and maintain air conditioning equipment, steam, and hot water heating systems, and sprinkler systems.
- Repair and Replace Fixtures and Equipment: Repair and replace broken fixtures and equipment, including sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, appliances, and trim.
- Clean Out Drains and Obstructions: Clean out drains and obstructions in waste and sewage pipes to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform Scheduled Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Work: Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative maintenance work as required to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate Work Functions with Co-workers and Other Departments: Coordinate work functions with co-workers and other departments to ensure seamless operation and effective communication.
- Document Repairs and Work Order Request Forms: Document repairs and work order request forms and initiate material forms as required.
- Research, Purchase, and Inventory Equipment Parts and Supplies: Research, purchase, and inventory equipment parts and supplies to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain Records of Work Completed and Parts Used: Maintain records of work completed and parts used to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Four (4) Years of Progressively Responsible Journey Level Plumbing Experience: Four (4) years of progressively responsible journey level plumbing experience, or completion of a four-year federally approved technical training program in plumbing repair and maintenance and two (2) years plumbing experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Liability Insurance: Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of Company vehicles.
- Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Pass Post-Employment Offer Drug Screen and Background Check: Must pass post-employment offer drug screen and background check; if already employed by Dollywood, must be in good standing with current team.
- Able to Project Dollywood's Image: Able to project Dollywood's image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in their work.
- Self-Motivated and Disciplined: Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
