Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Development: Assist in leading, training, and developing photography hosts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Operational Management: Ensure photo-specific daily operating competencies are managed effectively and consistently reinforced, including effective photography, sales skills, guest relations skills, and basic hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Business Strategy Execution: Effectively execute business strategies created by management to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Financial Management: Maintain site budget for assigned location and ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with company procedures and PCI standards.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate effective sales teams, participate in meetings with leadership, and demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and developing property photo operations teams.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ensure proper flow of communication among all leadership levels regarding significant events, meetings, and initiatives.
- Performance Management: Motivate and evaluate team performance to develop and grow the team and the business.
- Compliance and Safety: Comply with, support, and ensure photo team compliance with all department and park-specific policies, legal requirements, standards, procedures, and initiatives, including safety protocols and procedures.
- Education and Experience: Minimum 18 years of age, photography experience preferred, previous experience in retail or service environment preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Able to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employees, must reflect Dollywood's image by being genuinely friendly and caring, must be self-motivated and disciplined, must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis, and must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information.
- Physical Demands: Able to sit and/or stand for long/short periods, able to work in small, confined areas, able to operate a fire extinguisher, able to tolerate detergents and chemicals, able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and able to work outdoors.
