About the Role

As a Marketing Communications Specialist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through strategic marketing partnerships and program management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic marketing partnership to key internal customers, understanding business objectives and presenting integrated solutions that leverage Group Marketing resources.
  • Identify and communicate program scope, ensuring critical paths, benchmarks, and objectives are met, prioritizing and organizing activities to efficiently deliver plans on time and budget.
  • Convert program requirements to executable results, developing and maintaining project plans and schedules, ensuring clear definition of success, assessing results, and presenting ideas for campaign/tactic/channel optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver tactical assets, supporting development of diverse assets, including advertising, emails, trade show materials, video, photography, training, and more.
  • Develop and deliver professional written and spoken communications, ensuring team members and leadership have clear, concise, and up-to-date information on progress.
  • Provide guidance to the business on process and standard methodologies, ensuring all assets meet corporate and brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Facilitate logistical activities to support events and other business priorities.
Requirements
  • Expertise in marketing communications and digital marketing, including channel knowledge, customer journey, personas, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Manages relationships through open and consistent communication, establishing and maintaining Business Partners' trust, including setting clear expectations.
  • Highly proficient at prioritizing and leading sophisticated programs, channels, and tactic mix, consistently delivering projects on or before communicated/aligned timeline.
  • Excellent communication skills, creating 100% transparency of project status, expectations, next steps, and final delivery.
  • Able to understand business strategies and prioritize activities appropriately, handling several campaigns under tight deadlines, working autonomously.
  • Able to work in a highly matrixed environment, optimally navigating systems/processes, and resourceful in solving problems.
  • Phenomenal teammate with excellent people skills and written/verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, engaged, and accountable.
