Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other HRBPs on various HR projects, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Hands-On HR: Execute HR tasks, including recruitment, compensation, job description development, employee relations, leadership coaching, leave administration, and time/attendance management.
  • Business Acumen & Consultative Approach: Act as an internal consultant to the HR team and assigned client groups, leveraging business knowledge to provide strategic guidance and support.
  • Employee Relations & Coaching: Proactively manage employee relations issues, working closely with leaders to resolve conflicts and provide coaching.
  • Performance Management: Provide performance management guidance to leaders, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Leave & Accommodations: Administer and manage complex leaves of absence and accommodations within federal and state guidelines.
  • Recruitment & Compensation: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruitment efforts align with organizational needs.
  • Policy & Compliance: Interpret and communicate company policies and employment regulations, staying up-to-date with changing employment laws and best practices.
  • Project Management: Manage various HR projects, including updating policies, developing recognition programs, and tracking key HR metrics.
Client Responsibilities

This position requires regular interaction with clients, including employees and management. You must be able to manage challenging client situations with professionalism and provide prompt, accurate responses to HR inquiries.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8-10 years of related HR experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR areas, including compensation, employee relations, performance management, leave administration, and recruitment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday (preferred but not required).
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
  • Experience working with operational client groups such as call centers or entry-level, hourly workforces is highly desirable.

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and ability to act as a strategic consultant for HR and client groups.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to management and employees.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and develop innovative HR solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Must be able to manage competing priorities and multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role typically requires regular office work, including sitting, using a computer, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. The work environment is usually moderate in noise level, and flexibility may be required to work beyond traditional hours during peak periods.

Working Hours

This is an exempt position, typically working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional extended hours as needed to meet business demands.
