We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Relations Business Partner to join our team at Edward Jones. As a key member of our People Function, you will serve as an expert advisor and consultant to all levels of leadership, including Directors and General Partners, on complex and sensitive associate relations and business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and guide leaders and associates through multifaceted interpersonal, business, and leadership challenges, assessing and determining appropriate action based on investigation of facts and circumstances.
- Provide decisions and advice to leaders on executing outcomes, ranging from coaching to separation of employment, and frequently deliver outcomes directly to associates.
- Collaborate and coach Associate Relations Business Partners in complex situations to arrive at appropriate outcomes while developing the acumen of colleagues.
- Assist department leadership with the development of new Associate Relations Business Partners through onboarding, training, and coaching on the responsibilities and skills of the position.
- Promote and enable a fair and inclusive workplace, representing Edward Jones culture and values while mitigating legal, federal, and provincial employment law, business, financial, regulatory, reputational, and associate experience risks.
- Manage and resolve complex issues escalated by other COEs, including Compliance, Leaves/Accommodations, Business Human Capital, Public Relations, Managing Partners Office, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
- Advise and collaborate with external entities and internal functions, including Legal, Compliance, COEs, Business Leaders, Global Security, and Local Law Enforcement.
- Represent the Associate Relations function on division and firm initiatives, collaborating with cross-divisional leadership to set strategy focused on the associate experience and moments that matter throughout their career lifecycle.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with 2 years directly in employee relations or an increasingly responsible leadership position.
- Availability to work MST or PST hours preferred.
- HR certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment law.
We offer a competitive salary range of $81,750 to $139,194, based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
