Position Overview:


The Marketing Strategy Manager at Holy Cross Services will act as the primary liaison and daily collaborator with various departments, including enrollment, internal communications, athletics, and the arts, with a specific emphasis on supporting the advancement team.

This role is crucial in aiding the formulation and implementation of targeted marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of best practices in advancement and will significantly contribute to the overall marketing direction of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Departmental Collaboration:
Serve as the main marketing contact for various departments, including enrollment, internal communications, athletics, and others.
Establish strong, cooperative relationships with departmental stakeholders to grasp their distinct marketing requirements and objectives.
Act as a bridge between these departments and the marketing team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of marketing initiatives.

Advancement Communication:

Collaborate with the advancement team to utilize marketing and communication strategies to meet established objectives while enhancing brand loyalty.

Develop a thorough understanding of advancement best practices and apply this knowledge to devise impactful marketing strategies.
Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, alumni engagement efforts, and other advancement-related initiatives.

Marketing Strategy Formulation:
Aid in creating targeted marketing plans customized to the specific needs of each department.
Conduct market research and analysis to guide marketing strategies and pinpoint growth opportunities.
Ensure marketing plans are in line with the overall strategic objectives of the organization and contribute to strengthening its brand.

Campaign Implementation:
Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital, print, social media, and events.
Coordinate with internal and external resources to produce high-quality marketing materials.
Track campaign performance and provide regular updates on key metrics, offering insights and suggestions for enhancement.

Content Development and Management:
Work with content creators to produce engaging and effective marketing content.
Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand standards and maintain a consistent message.
Manage the approval process for marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery and publication.

Process Optimization:
Identify and implement enhancements in marketing processes and workflows to boost efficiency.
Utilize project management tools (e.g., ASANA) to monitor progress and ensure timely project completion.
Stay informed about marketing trends and best practices, integrating new ideas and technologies into the organization's marketing strategies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, focusing on strategy formulation and execution.
Experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in advancement or fundraising, is highly preferred.
Strong project management capabilities and proficiency in using project management and marketing automation tools (e.g., ASANA, Hubspot).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven history of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
Creative and strategic thinker capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time, exempt position. The organization is committed to providing competitive market compensation for its employees. The annual salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
