About the Role:

As a CBRE Project Management Sr. Director, you will be responsible for overseeing department-related management services within multiple geographic markets, programs, or client accounts to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This role is part of the Project Management function, responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Team Management: Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  2. Project Coordination and Management: Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines, mentor, and coach as needed.
  3. Client Management: Direct all phases of the process for large and high-profile clients, including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
  4. Contract Management: Ensure that contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeouts are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  5. Business Development: Develop new business growth and maintain existing business relationships.
  6. Financial Management: Maintain full responsibility for the financial performance of market, program, and client accounts.
  7. Risk Management: Identify complex project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  8. Industry Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness to drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.
  9. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties to reach strategic agreements.
  10. Process Improvement: Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
  11. Problem-Solving: Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.
Requirements:
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  2. Financial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles and the ability to analyze complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.
  3. Leadership and Management: Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  5. Leadership and Teamwork: Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  6. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  7. Organizational Skills: Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
