Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Developer to become a vital part of our Engineering team. This role is pivotal in shaping system design and architecture, while developing high-quality functionalities that enhance customer experience. The ideal candidate will also provide technical guidance and strategic vision in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of both existing and new services across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services.
  • Create reusable frameworks and components to support global delivery needs.
  • Maintain REST API documentation utilizing Swagger and produce design documentation.
  • Engage in quality testing and validation of changes or enhancements prior to customer release.
  • Diagnose issues and debug codebases effectively.
  • Work on the AWS cloud platform, including EKS.
  • Enhance and maintain existing codebases, conducting peer reviews of code modifications.
  • Adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes as required by the organization.
  • Ensure security, monitoring, analytics, and throttling aspects of the API layer are upheld.
  • Collaborate with leads and team members to achieve project deliverables and milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience with programming languages such as Golang (minimum 4-6 years required), Java, or Node.js.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps, cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a service.
  • Proficient in clean architecture, API design, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in navigation systems for automotive multimedia.
  • Experience in implementing and validating platform technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Go Lang and AWS cloud experience is essential. Candidates who began their careers with Java or other languages and have recent experience with Golang are also encouraged to apply.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite presence.
  • Experience with data structures, API integration, backend exposure, server integration, and business specifications is necessary.
  • Interview process will consist of a maximum of two rounds via MS Teams, each lasting 30 minutes.
