Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Market Access and Reimbursement Strategy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our market access and reimbursement strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market trends, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing market access and reimbursement strategies, and will be able to think strategically and creatively to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Director, Market Access and Reimbursement Strategy will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market access and reimbursement strategies to ensure Pacira BioSciences' products are accessible to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, medical, and regulatory, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments to ensure Pacira BioSciences remains competitive and compliant.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and assumptions to ensure effective resource allocation and business growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of market access and reimbursement professionals to ensure successful execution of strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in sales and/or marketing for hospital pharmaceutical or medical device, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing market access and reimbursement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
