About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations at PERSONE NYC, a growing restaurant group rooted in the rich traditions of Middle Eastern cuisine. Located in the vibrant Brooklyn Heights neighborhood, our restaurant is becoming a local favorite, and this is your chance to be part of something truly special.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a talented team of chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of culinary excellence.
  • Work closely with the executive chef to ensure the flawless execution of our menu, shaping seasonal specials and influencing the evolution of our core offerings.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including managing inventory, purchasing, monitoring food costs, and labor.
  • Maintain consistency across all kitchen operations, ensuring every dish meets our high standards for flavor, portioning, and presentation.
  • Enforce food safety guidelines, health code regulations, and workplace safety protocols, training staff on hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Control food and labor costs through meticulous ordering, portion control, and efficient kitchen processes.

  • Culinary expertise with a strong background in kitchen management and a deep understanding of Middle Eastern cuisine.
  • Proven leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to manage a diverse kitchen team and foster a collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Operational and financial acumen, with experience managing kitchen operations, budget control, and maximizing labor efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with the FOH team, chefs, and owners.
