Sales Strategy Manager

At Ghirardelli Chocolate, we're on a mission to become a leading premium chocolate brand. We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategy Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans to deliver national sales and profit objectives
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales presentations and tools for field sales
  • Own the growth plan for In-Store Execution, specifically Distribution and Display
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build plans and drive sales growth
  • Develop and track In-Store Execution goals and presentations to achieve Perfect Store objectives
  • Develop and deploy pricing strategies and determine assortment and display priorities
  • Track on/off goals and create IRI and Shipment data reporting
  • Act as the Company's internal sales resource and attend key internal meetings
  • Own sales input into New Product Development process and resource to marketing department on external opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of CPG sales team experience
  • Minimum 2 years in analytical role (sales analyst or similar)
  • Minimum 3 years of direct selling experience, category management, or marketing experience in major CPG company
