Job Overview

Green Light Distribution is expanding its presence in the Florida market and is seeking enthusiastic, innovative, and self-driven individuals with a business-oriented and customer-centric approach to join our team. The primary role of the Sales Representatives is to effectively present, promote, and sell the brands represented by GLD within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage target accounts while fostering relationships with off-premise staff, retail managers, and customer sales teams.
  • Utilize established relationships with key accounts to enhance distribution sales.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, supporting team members in achieving collective success.
  • Educate both trade partners and consumers through direct engagement, including samplings, meetings, and training sessions (supporting local teams with staff training as needed).
  • Employ data analysis tools such as Encompass and Microsoft Office Suite to monitor activities, results, contacts, tasks, and overall performance.
  • Maintain and strengthen a network of distribution points.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and placement targets within the assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • A professional background in the beverage industry with at least 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor; experience in spirits is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and active auto insurance is required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • A hands-on individual capable of working independently while adding value to the team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to guide distributor sales forces and cultivate key retail customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with the local market is essential.
