Job Overview

The primary role of the Sales Representatives is to showcase, promote, and sell the brands represented by GLD within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential accounts and cultivate relationships with off-premise staff, retail managers, and customer sales teams.
  • Utilize relationships with key accounts to drive distribution sales.
  • Be a proactive individual capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supporting team members in achieving success.
  • Educate trade partners and consumers through direct engagement, including samplings, meetings, and training sessions (assist local teams with staff training as needed).
  • Employ data analysis tools such as Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to monitor activities, results, contacts, tasks, and outputs.
  • Maintain and enhance a network of distribution points.
  • Meet monthly sales and placement targets within the assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • A professional background in the beverage industry with at least 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor; experience in spirits is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and active auto insurance.
  • Willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • A proactive individual capable of working remotely and demonstrating added value.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to guide distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with the local market is essential.
