Manufacturing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Director to lead our efforts in developing and implementing direct air carbon capture technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and commissioning manufacturing plants for carbon capture scrubbers, managing a team of engineers and technicians, and implementing Design for Manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Design and Commissioning: Develop and implement manufacturing processes for carbon capture scrubbers, ensuring high-quality and efficient production.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Design for Manufacturing: Implement principles and best practices to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Manufacturing Systems Development: Design and develop in-house manufacturing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturing vendors, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality components.
- Process Development: Collaborate with mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, and design engineers to develop and refine manufacturing processes.
- Experience in High-Throughput Manufacturing: Proven track record of designing and implementing high-throughput manufacturing processes.
- Plant Automation Experience: Experience with plant automation systems, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Autonomy and Independence: Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision.
- Robotics and Automation Experience: Experience with robotics and automation systems, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience: Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
