About the Role

The Mechanical Engineering Manager will oversee the development of next-generation metrology systems with a small group of mechanical engineers as part of the Hardware Engineering organization at Nova Ltd.

This role will interface with multifunctional groups to ensure the smooth development and deployment of new product solutions and capabilities, support ongoing product improvement, and next-generation platform development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of mechanical design activities, from small component improvement to new platform definitions.
  • Supervise a team of mechanical engineers, assign, schedule, and track their tasks to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Interface with vendors and suppliers for product release and prototype development.
  • Oversee the workflow of the HW release process and represent Mechanical Engineering in the Hardware Change Control Board.
  • Participate in conceptual and detailed design work, vendor development, and supplier management.
Requirements
  • BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in complex system design, vendor management, and product release.
  • Previous experience with Semiconductor Capital equipment is a plus.
