Litigation Support Specialist for National Firm

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Support Specialist to join our national firm's San Diego office. This collaborative and flexible work environment requires the ability to prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, and work well with a diverse team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and litigation support
- Handling communication with attorneys, courts, service providers, and clients
- Working on matters involving court-based litigation and disputes being resolved with various administrative agencies
- E-filing in both state and federal courts
- Keeping attorneys and the team apprised of legal procedures and updates
- Managing calendaring, research court/local/judges' rules, and cross-checking calendaring using software such as eDockets
- Additional tasks may include: travel arrangements, expense reports, entering attorneys' timesheets, and other administrative or executive assistant duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
- Recent experience in business or commercial litigation
- Tenure as a Legal Assistant/Secretary in a litigation environment
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strong critical thinking skills, written and verbal communication abilities, attention to detail, proofreading skills, and the ability to multitask
