We are in search of a proactive Technical Program Manager to spearhead strategic and highly impactful product compliance and security initiatives at Snowflake. This role demands innovative thinking, exceptional technical program management skills, and outstanding communication abilities to drive significant results. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, adeptly prioritize tasks, seamlessly adapt to changing circumstances without compromising quality, and uphold a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. They should be process-driven and proficient in establishing effective mechanisms to enhance decision-making and ensure thorough diligence.

Your responsibilities will include driving consensus on issues informed by risk assessments and concrete data, collaborating with partner teams to benchmark and influence policies, and understanding business requirements while addressing escalations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and deliver critical programs with extensive organizational, business, and technical implications.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership alongside Engineering and Product Management, facilitating inter/intra team communications to achieve exceptional program outcomes.
  • Apply strong, data-driven strategic judgment to decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to ensure high-quality products and features are delivered throughout the software project lifecycle.
  • Enhance your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on best practices in program management.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize organizational execution, enhancing engineering productivity through improved tools and processes.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in driving cross-functional projects, developing long-term programs, and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Compliance & Security principles.
  • Experience in reporting on complex programs through data-driven benchmarks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate influence without authority, fostering cross-organizational support and action around security initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Adept at navigating trade-offs, balancing competing priorities, and being open to changing perspectives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening abilities, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven success in collaborating and establishing credibility with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  • Ability to adapt, remain flexible, and learn swiftly in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong team player, capable of working with virtual and global cross-functional teams.
