Project Overview:

Engtal is in search of a seasoned Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead a significant construction initiative. This endeavor entails the creation of a new five-story, 90,000-square-foot facility with an estimated budget of around $80 million. The project will commence with preliminary site and utility work, followed by the primary construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of the project from inception to completion.
  • Formulate and oversee project timelines, budgets, and plans.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Track project advancement and implement necessary modifications to adhere to timelines and budgetary limits.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to supervise construction processes and uphold quality standards.
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork among project participants.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Apply risk management techniques to address potential project challenges.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, permits, and modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-10+ years in project management is preferred.
  • Education: Experience in educational sector projects is advantageous. Relevant commercial experience is also acceptable.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
