Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of our construction projects, from initial planning to completion.

In this role, you will coordinate all construction tasks, ensuring quality standards are met and resolving any issues that arise. You will also ensure that all work is completed on schedule and within budget. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in field supervision who wishes to contribute to the company's growth and success.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on field supervision.
  • Proven experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction material, equipment, and tools.
  • Proficient in interpreting and implementing construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and construction management software packages.
  • Valid construction and driver's license.
