Job Overview

Mazur + Son Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our site operations and ensure the successful completion of our commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervising subcontractors and coordinating with clients
  • Develop and implement project schedules, sequencing trades, and ensuring timely completion
  • Provide logistic planning input during preconstruction and create a positive work environment
  • Assist project managers in meetings with clients and subcontractors, and ensure all work is constructed according to plans, specifications, and subcontracts
  • Proactively anticipate, recognize, and resolve problems, and ensure construction complies with safety, health, and quality standards
  • Track and record daily reports, RFI's, ASI's, and coordinate building inspections with state and local jurisdictions
  • Coordinate punch list completion, review closeout documents, as-builts, and user training
  • Establish long-lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors, and participate in company expansion

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial construction experience required
  • Experience in K-12 a plus
  • Ability to participate in meetings with clients and subcontractors, and possess safety training
