Auto and Casualty Claims Supervisor

As a Claims Supervisor in our Auto and Casualty Claims team, you will be responsible for the analysis and management of claim files within your unit. You will supervise a team of claims adjusters, review their performance, and ensure adherence to claim procedures and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising claims adjusters and reviewing their performance
  • Identifying training needs and conducting training as needed
  • Coaching and mentoring staff
  • Maintaining responsibility for claim results, including reserve adequacy, loss costs, and payment accuracy
  • Developing and implementing reviews to ensure claims technical standards are being met

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficient in database software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
