Position Summary

Licensed Practical Nurse / Family Medicine

We are in search of a proficient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who possesses extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the specific needs of a designated patient demographic.
  • Responsible for delivering both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in standard nursing scenarios under the guidance and oversight of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare provider.
  • Aids physicians and registered nurses in ensuring the comfort, care, and treatment of patients.
  • Assists with diagnostic evaluations.
  • Monitors and documents patients' conditions and progress.
  • In more intricate cases where the patient is unstable or requires urgent attention, the LPN operates under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
  • Conducts daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment; maintains examination and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies, standard clinic procedures, and sectional protocols, ensuring an adequate supply of forms, materials, and equipment in all examination areas.
  • Collects and records patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; obtains patient measurements, including height, weight, pain levels, and others in the electronic medical record.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification is mandatory.
