Licensed Practical Nurse in Family Medicine
We are in search of a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the specific needs of our patient population.
- Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in standard nursing scenarios under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
- Support physicians and registered nurses in ensuring patient comfort, care, and treatment.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures as required.
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress accurately.
- In complex cases where patients are unstable or require urgent care, the LPN will operate under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
- Conduct daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment; maintain examination and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies and standard clinic protocols, ensuring adequate supplies are available in all exam rooms.
- Collect and record patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; document patient measurements such as height, weight, and pain levels in the electronic medical record.
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Licensure/Certification: Must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification is mandatory.
