Position Description

Licensed Practical Nurse / Family Medicine

Shift: Full Time 8:30am-5:30pm

We are looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the needs of specific patient populations.
  • Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in routine situations under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
  • Support physicians and registered nurses in ensuring patient comfort, care, and treatment.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress.
  • In complex scenarios where patients are unstable or require urgent care, the LPN will operate under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment; maintain exam/treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies and clinic protocols, ensuring an adequate supply of forms, materials, and equipment in all examination areas.
  • Collect and record patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; document patient measurements such as height, weight, and pain levels in the electronic medical record.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.
