Position Summary

Licensed Practical Nurse / Family Medicine

Shift: Full Time 8:30am-5:30pm

We are looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the needs of a specific patient demographic.
  • Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in standard nursing scenarios under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
  • Support physicians and registered nurses in ensuring patient comfort, care, and treatment.
  • Assist with diagnostic assessments.
  • Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress.
  • In more complex cases where the patient is unstable or requires urgent care, the LPN operates under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment; maintain examination and treatment areas according to infection control policies and clinic protocols, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available in all examination rooms.
  • Record and document patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; obtain and document patient measurements, including height, weight, pain levels, and others in the electronic medical record.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.
