Licensed Practical Nurse / Family Medicine
Shift: Full Time 8:30am-5:30pm
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the specific needs of a diverse patient population.
- Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in standard nursing situations under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
- Support physicians and registered nurses in ensuring patient comfort, care, and treatment.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress effectively.
- In complex scenarios where the patient is unstable or requires urgent care, the LPN will operate under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
- Conduct daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment; maintain exam/treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies and clinic protocols, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available.
- Record and document patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; gather patient measurements such as height, weight, and pain levels in the electronic medical record.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.
