Position Description

Licensed Practical Nurse / Family Medicine

We are looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who possesses extensive experience in patient care and has a solid understanding of the needs of a specific patient demographic.
  • Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in standard nursing scenarios under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
  • Support physicians and registered nurses in ensuring the comfort, care, and treatment of patients.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress.
  • In more intricate situations where the patient is unstable or requires urgent care, the LPN operates under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies; maintain examination/treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies, standard clinic protocols, and ensure adequate supply of forms, materials, and equipment in all examination rooms.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; document patient measurements, including height, weight, pain levels, and others in the electronic medical record.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification is required.
