Job Overview
The Business Development Executive is expected to exhibit a high level of expertise in identifying and securing engagements with key decision-makers in mid to large enterprises, ideally those with multiple locations. A successful history in prospecting through networking and active participation in industry associations is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities while employing comprehensive methodologies, including identification, qualification, positioning, competitive analysis, and closing strategies.
  • Enhance and expand existing client relationships through exceptional sales and interpersonal skills.

  • Lead the development, execution, and presentation of high-quality, solution-oriented client proposals at the executive level.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful business-to-business sales experience in the audiovisual or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen, extract information, and utilize resources to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Capability to quickly learn about technical products, services, and solutions and apply new knowledge effectively.
  • Proficient in building relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Accurate and timely sales forecasting.
  • Experience with Challenger Sales Training is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer engagement capabilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Experience in audiovisual installation and event management is preferred.
  • Relevant manufacturer training and certifications are a plus.

Benefits
Essential Skills
Advanced knowledge and practical experience with audiovisual controls, digital signal processing, and related technologies. Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, including switches, routers, and firewalls is preferred. Proficient in using computers and software applications. Maintain a positive demeanor, strong work ethic, and embrace a collaborative work culture. Ability to read and interpret complex documents, including specifications and diagrams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Certifications such as Infocomm CTS and OSHA 10 Hr construction training are expected within specified timeframes.
