Role Summary:
As a Senior HR Specialist focusing on benefits, you will be responsible for overseeing employee benefits, managing leave policies, and executing special HR initiatives with the utmost confidentiality. You will work closely with vendors, finance, payroll, and the ConvenientMD team to ensure adherence to all benefit regulations.
Your Contributions:
- Enhance and oversee benefit processes while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Effectively communicate benefit options and provide training to employees.
- Facilitate new hire enrollments, orientations, and open enrollment periods.
- Collaborate with brokers and vendors on plan documentation, invoicing, and renewals.
- Conduct audits of benefit reports, resolve insurance claims, and manage payment processes.
- Process employee leave requests and maintain precise records.
- Administer multi-state unemployment claims and manage the return-to-work procedures.
- Identify and implement operational improvements.
- Generate and analyze HR reports while supporting HR technology enhancements.
- Assist with special HR projects, including compensation and performance management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits and leave management within a mid-sized organization, including multi-state administration.
- Proficient in ADP systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Skilled in MS Office and Smartsheet applications.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits plans and associated payroll/accounting functions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while delivering outstanding customer service.
