The Role

As a Senior HR Specialist focusing on Benefits, you will oversee employee benefits, manage leave requests, and lead special HR initiatives while ensuring confidentiality. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including vendors, finance, payroll, and the ConvenientMD team, to guarantee compliance with all benefit regulations.

Your Contributions

  • Enhance and oversee benefit processes while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Effectively communicate available benefit options and provide training for employees.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientations, and open enrollment periods.
  • Collaborate with brokers and vendors regarding plan summaries, invoicing, and renewals.
  • Conduct audits on benefit reports, resolve insurance claims, and manage payment processes.
  • Process employee leave requests and maintain precise records.
  • Administer multi-state unemployment claims and oversee the return-to-work process.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports while supporting HR technology enhancements.
  • Contribute to special HR projects related to compensation and performance management.

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits and leave administration within a mid-sized organization, including multi-state leave management.
  • Extensive proficiency with ADP systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled in MS Office and Smartsheet applications.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits plans and associated payroll/accounting functions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while delivering outstanding customer service.
