We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Manager to join our team at SigSauer. As a key member of our Finance Process Improvement department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Document and organize accounting policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Develop and implement financial system controls to mitigate risk and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct regular testing and evaluation of internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on internal controls and financial processes.
- Support the annual independent audit and other special projects as assigned by the Director, Finance Process Improvement.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, with 5+ years of related experience in internal control, audit, or a similar field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting controls, policies, and procedures, with the ability to provide solutions to control issues.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive program initiatives and change management.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with accounting systems, such as Hyperion, Oracle, or UKG.
This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional work in designated areas with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
