Field Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Curtis Power Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities and facilitating sales transactions. You will also track and influence projects from design phase to implementation, utilizing business systems and software to ensure effective communication between field and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify market opportunities and facilitate sales transactions
- Track and influence projects from design phase to implementation
- Utilize business systems and software to ensure effective communication between field and project management
- Coordinate with sales team for quotation activity and follow-up efforts
- Develop sales strategies to close orders and adapt to market channel dynamics
- Understand building electrical distribution systems and components
- Participate in trade shows and professional industry events
- Prepare sales call reporting and market analysis
- Perform face-to-face visits with electrical contractors, engineers, and end-user accounts
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and perform electrical formula calculations
- Assemble accurate and professional proposals
- Prepare sales activity reports to assist in capturing data analytics and market trends
Requirements
- Proven ability to communicate effectively
- High level of productivity output
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands
- Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree preferred
- This position requires occasional driving
