Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Field Engineer to join our team at Turner Construction. As a key member of our field operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction of projects in accordance with contract documents and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Line and Grade Work: Assist in the implementation of site safety programs and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Assist in Maintenance of Contract Documents: Assist in the preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) and review work as it is being placed to ensure accuracy within accepted tolerances.
  • Review Contract Drawings and Specifications: Assist in the preparation of project as-builts and ensure proper coordination and installation of work.
  • Assist in Protection and Promotion of Turner's Interests: Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Two years of college education from an accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team, demonstrate initiative and desire to learn, ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, and proficiency with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications.
