Job Overview

Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Account Executive to join our team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new customers and develop a territory plan to expand the customer base within your assigned territory.
  • Generate sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings as established by management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing-cycle model preferred; 3-5 years of business-to-business sales experience preferred.
