About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foster Care Worker to join our team at TFI Family Services, Inc. As a Foster Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families to ensure their well-being and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with children and families to develop and implement individualized plans to promote healthy relationships and family dynamics.
- Collaborate with foster parents to provide training, support, and resources to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Conduct home visits and assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of children in foster care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and service providers to connect families with necessary support.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and families, promoting healthy communication and conflict resolution skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or a master's degree in a human services field.
- At least two years of experience in the human service field, preferably in child welfare or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
