Treatment Foster Care Specialist

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a passionate and innovative professional to join our team as a Treatment Foster Care Specialist. This role involves working with youth, primarily teens, in our specialized treatment family homes, providing collaborative, coaching, and mentoring support to both the youth and adults in their lives.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to youth in treatment family homes, focusing on increasing placement stability, teaching new coping skills, and supporting youth in achieving permanence.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each youth.
- Conduct regular home visits, assessments, and evaluations to ensure the well-being and safety of youth in care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community resources, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for youth and families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as trauma-informed care, attachment, and family dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in foster care or child welfare.
- Valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
- Pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
