Treatment Foster Care Specialist

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a passionate and innovative Treatment Foster Care Specialist to work with youth, primarily teens, in our specialized treatment family homes. As a Treatment Foster Care Specialist, you will be a collaborator, coach, and mentor for both the youth and the adults in their lives. Your primary focus will be on increasing placement stability, teaching new coping skills, and supporting youth as they achieve permanence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with youth, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to foster families to support their ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
- Teach new coping skills and strategies to youth to help them manage challenging behaviors and emotions.
- Support youth in achieving permanence through reunification, adoption, or other permanent living arrangements.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to treatment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
- Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
