Job Title: Foster Care Manager

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Foster Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supervising foster care case management staff, ensuring compliance with contract/licensing/funding body and accreditation requirements, and providing backup supervision to case management staff as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise foster care case management staff and ensure compliance with contract/licensing/funding body and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide backup supervision to case management staff as needed.
  • Maintain responsibility for supervision of children in the unit and any others as assigned.
  • Act as the liaison between Cornerstones of Care and funding sources, ensuring adequate communication channels at all times.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of children and their families, and for the least restrictive community-based services.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and ongoing growth of the program.
  • Ensure compliance with all Children's Division and Cornerstones of Care standards and requirements.
  • Manage an allotted Service Budget for the assigned unit and ensure expenditures are within approved budget amounts.
  • Provide monitoring and guidance to Case Management Specialists on effective ways to manage their individual caseload budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or other Human Services related field.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience with children and families.
  • One (1) year of experience providing foster care/adoption case management services is required.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
