Bonus/Commission: Eligible for an additional $7,500 - $10,000 bonus
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Will transition to hybrid)
Benefits: AvailableJob Overview:We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Accountant to join our Finance Team at PeopleShare. This role is crucial in assisting our CFO by overseeing daily financial operations and ensuring clarity and order in the company's financial activities. The successful candidate will possess a solid grasp of accounting standards and demonstrate precision in numerical tasks. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization.Key Duties:
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies in the company's financial records.
  • Organize and reconcile prepaid asset accounts; prepare corresponding journal entries.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations with ERP systems; manage related journal entries.
  • Leverage accounting software to maintain accurate records and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and distribute supplier reimbursements for samples, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
  • Organize and reconcile supplier receivable accounts; prepare necessary journal entries.
  • Oversee unvouchered receipts reports and corporate A/P cards, including monthly reconciliations.
  • Verify additions to fixed assets and prepare documentation for semi-annual assessments.
  • Assist in reviewing and posting employee expense reports.
  • Analyze and facilitate expense reporting for monthly evaluations.
  • Support the Accounting Manager and CFO during monthly and yearly closing processes and other accounting initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, and controls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated team player with effective time management skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and capability to manage unforeseen circumstances.
  • High accuracy and thoroughness in work; proficient in presenting numerical data.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred).
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation capabilities.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
