The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of accounting standards and demonstrate precision in numerical tasks. This position is vital for the smooth functioning of the department and contributes significantly to the financial stability of the organization.Primary Duties:
  • Examine and rectify discrepancies or variances in the organization's financial data.
  • Organize and reconcile prepaid asset accounts; generate related journal entries.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations with ERP systems; manage associated journal entries.
  • Leverage accounting software to maintain records and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and distribute supplier reimbursements for samples, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
  • Organize and reconcile supplier receivable accounts; create journal entries.
  • Review and manage unvouchered receipts reports and corporate A/P cards, including monthly reconciliation.
  • Verify additions to fixed assets and prepare necessary documentation for semi-annual evaluations.
  • Assist with the review and posting of employee expense reports.
  • Analyze and facilitate expenses for monthly financial reporting.
  • Support the Accounting Manager and CFO during monthly/yearly closings and various accounting projects.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion regarding confidential information.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated team player with effective time management skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and capacity to manage unexpected situations.
  • High accuracy and thoroughness in work; ability to present numerical data clearly.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (BS Degree in Accounting preferred).
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
