Job Summary

The Wine and Spirits Department Manager is a key leadership role at Festival Foods, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the wine and spirits department. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team of associates to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of wine and spirits associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory levels, pricing, and product placement to maximize sales and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to drive sales growth and improve overall store performance.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and spirits products, including inventory management and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of associates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other tasks as required.
