Job Summary:

Festival Foods is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Wine and Spirits Sales Associate to join our team. As a Wine and Spirits Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are being followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and be able to make recommendations to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all customer interactions are positive and professional.
  • Work closely with the Wine and Spirits Department Manager to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that all department standards are being met, including maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and back stock area.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain all cash and media at the registers.
  • Assist guests with finding items they are looking for on the sales floor.
  • Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues when a guest is not satisfied with the service or product received.

Requirements:

  • High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age in order to sample products sold in the wine and spirits department.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
