Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at ASI Corp. in Chicago, IL.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase current sales revenue, customer base, and expand into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with vendors and sales teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealers
  • Present product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition of agricultural technology solutions to prospective clients
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to clients regarding the integration, implementation, and usage of technology solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of the features, functionalities, and applications of agricultural autonomous technology services
  • Market research, including understanding customers and competitors in the agricultural field, to define the sales and marketing strategy better
  • Train sales teams and resellers as a subject matter expert
  • Work closely with vendor's cross-functioning teams to plan and drive the execution of sales, after-sales service, marketing, training, and logistics
  • Manage purchase, sales, and inventory with vendors, including system operation and data management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Agriculture, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum two years of experience in agricultural equipment sales or product management
  • Agricultural-related work experience and channel resources are a great plus
  • Proven experience in business development/sales, preferably in the agricultural or technology sector
  • Ability to travel at least 75%; a valid driver's license is required
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong interest in UAV/drones; agriculture or enterprise UAV experience preferred
