Position Summary: The Head of Healthcare Sales Strategy will lead a dedicated team focused on selling innovative products and services tailored for the healthcare sector. This role involves recruiting, managing, and inspiring a team of sales professionals by establishing a consistent and effective sales methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenue within the designated healthcare sector by developing effective Direct Sales initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives;
  • Oversee daily operations to equip the Direct Sales team with essential tools, leads, and insights necessary for successful sales efforts;
  • Deliver comprehensive reports to management on a regular basis to evaluate the growth and performance of the Direct Sales team;
  • Provide continuous training on sales techniques, products, and services to enhance the capabilities of the Direct Sales team;
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to ensure that market messaging resonates with our target audience;
  • Establish clear engagement protocols for the Direct Sales team and communicate these effectively;
  • Utilize professional sales techniques to negotiate agreements and finalize Direct Sale opportunities that are advantageous for the company, partners, and clients;
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts;
  • Report to senior sales leadership with insights on healthcare industry trends and how our solutions can enhance client offerings;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, development, marketing, product fulfillment, and product management) to ensure optimal customer support throughout the sales process;
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned;
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and mission statement;
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant regulations regarding data handling and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in selling healthcare software solutions;
  • Strong grasp of sales methodologies and processes;
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets;
  • Ability to lead a team through fast-paced projects while managing longer sales cycles effectively;
  • Expertise in strategic selling principles and tools;
  • Experience in managing channel opportunities through forecasting and strategic planning;
  • Exceptional cold calling and coaching abilities;
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and presentation skills;
  • Adaptability to change, quick learning, and a collaborative spirit;
  • Proven leadership skills with the capacity to inspire and develop team members;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience in sales leadership and familiarity with healthcare software applications is preferred;
  • A background in marketing within the healthcare sector is advantageous.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, sales management, or a related field.

Work Environment:

  • This role primarily involves sedentary work, with occasional lifting of light objects;
  • Travel may be required for client engagements, estimated at less than 50%.
