As a Sales Support Specialist, your primary role will be to assist our Outside Sales Representatives in promoting and selling hardware, building supplies, and lumber to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, operational procedures, corporate culture, and customer service standards.
- Engage with Builders and collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives regarding their ongoing projects.
- Support the quoting process, manage production sales orders, and facilitate the procurement of special-order items.
- Provide attentive service to customers and address their inquiries.
- Coordinate the logistics of material delivery in conjunction with our Outside Sales Representatives and their contractors.
- Perform additional sales support tasks as needed.
- Foster relationships with Vendors and maintain their product catalogs.
- A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Prior experience in commercial construction or sales is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and transporting up to 80 pounds.
- A willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment is crucial.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in responding swiftly and accurately to challenges.
- Familiarity with office equipment is necessary.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor is important for effective teamwork.
- A positive and energetic attitude is highly valued.
- Strong verbal communication skills are required.
