Join Siemens Corporation as a Smart Buildings Specialist Intern and take the first step towards a rewarding career in sustainable infrastructure. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, rotating through different departments and gaining hands-on experience in smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers to diagnose and repair HVAC and building automation system malfunctions.
  • Interface with customers to complete service work documentation and provide training instructions.
  • Recommend system enhancements to provide a value-added partner relationship.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2-year technical college or school pursuing a certificate in HVAC/R, building automation, construction management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy/sustainability, or computer science.
  • Earliest graduation date: August 2025.
  • Willing and able to work at the location on-site and surrounding local area.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment.
  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in using Windows laptops.

The hourly pay range for this position is $20 per hour for first-time interns or $22 per hour for returning interns.
