Position Overview:

The Procurement Specialist for Mass Production is responsible for overseeing the ordering and timely delivery of production components. This role requires adept planning, effective communication, and strong supplier relationships to ensure operational success. You will leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to mitigate disruptions and support departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of supplier processes and part specifications to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Foster strong communication channels with suppliers to enhance delivery performance and build collaborative relationships.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues to management, developing targeted strategies to address potential risks.
  • Enhance internal and external communication networks to support operational effectiveness and awareness.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to ensure all Mass Production initiatives meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage design changes for new models in close partnership with suppliers to ensure quality and timely implementation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures to resolve complex challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) methodologies.
  • Support the development of team capabilities through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the company's vision and strategic objectives through active participation in relevant projects.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 0-4 years of relevant experience based on educational background.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Understanding of inventory management principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization.
  • Capability to troubleshoot complex issues in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience in leading project initiatives effectively.
